Never worn a watch on the wrist and snugly 'cause of digging and being uncomfortable. The rounded sensor and rounded watch housing make it superrrrrrr comfortable on the wrist. No digging or edges. Feels like there will have to be some compromise whichever way you choose! Either: Solo loop - comfier, but at risk of snapping/stretching and constantly having the doubt in your mind. Sports band - slightly less comfy, more secure and less chance of breaking giving you more peace of mind. Wow what a great band. I really love the new milanese loops that Apple has designed for the Apple Watch Ultra. They fit so well and are feel fantastic. I've always liked the look of the milanese loop bands but I hated how they would constantly slide throughout the day with the magnet. The new Ultra bands stay in place perfectly.
As someone who has used the Nike sport loop almost every day, the trail loop feels smoother, softer and more premium.
